Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask before you agree.
1. What PaidJoin Is
PaidJoin is a tool that lets creators sell paid access to their private Telegram channels and groups. You connect your channel, add our bot as an admin, link your own Stripe account, and share one link. Your subscribers pay through Stripe Checkout and our bot sends them a personal, single-use invite link. By using PaidJoin, you agree to these terms.
2. Beta Status and Pricing
PaidJoin is currently in beta and free for founding creators. After the beta, the price is a flat $19/month with unlimited communities and members, and no sales caps ever. We take 0% of your sales — your subscription fee to us is the only thing we charge. We will tell you clearly before the beta ends and before any paid plan starts applying to you.
3. Your Stripe Account, Your Money
Payments from your subscribers go directly to your own Stripe account. PaidJoin never holds, touches, or routes your money. That also means refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are between you and your customer, handled through your Stripe account — we cannot issue refunds on your behalf. Your relationship with Stripe is governed by Stripe's own terms, not ours.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use PaidJoin to sell access to communities that share illegal content or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or scams. You must also comply with Telegram's and Stripe's rules, since the service depends on both. If we believe a project breaks these rules, we can suspend or remove it, and in serious cases close the account. We would rather have a smaller, honest platform than look the other way.
5. Your Responsibilities as a Creator
You own and are responsible for your content, your channel, and what you promise your subscribers. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Your subscribers are your customers, not ours — you handle their questions, complaints, and refund requests. You also confirm that you actually own or admin any channel you connect to PaidJoin (our verification checks this, but the responsibility is yours).
6. Our Responsibilities and Uptime
We run the service that automates invites, renewal reminders, and removal of expired members, and we log every action so you can see what happened. PaidJoin is in beta: we work on a best-effort basis and do not yet offer an uptime guarantee or SLA. We also depend on Telegram and Stripe, which we do not control. When something needs your attention — for example, the bot cannot remove an admin — we surface it as an alert in your dashboard.
7. Your Data
We store the minimum we need: Telegram user IDs and usernames, membership and payment records (amounts only — never card numbers), and audit logs. Stripe API keys are stored encrypted, and we ask for restricted keys with minimal permissions. Everything is hosted in the EU (Germany). Our Privacy Policy explains the details and is part of these terms.
8. Termination
You can stop using PaidJoin at any time — there is no lock-in, and your Stripe account and your customers remain entirely yours. We can also terminate accounts that break these terms. If your account ends, our bot stops managing your channel: no new paid invites are issued and automated removals stop, but we never mass-remove your existing members. Active subscriptions your customers hold with you continue in your Stripe account until you cancel them there.
9. Limitation of Liability
In plain language: we are not liable for lost profits, lost subscribers, or problems caused by Telegram or Stripe being down or changing their rules. If we are ever liable for something within our control, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the issue (during the free beta, that may be nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the product grows, especially as we leave beta. If a change meaningfully affects you — like pricing taking effect — we will notify you in the dashboard or via the bot before it applies. If you keep using PaidJoin after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting it. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service at any time.
11. Governing Law
PaidJoin is operated by a company based in Sweden, and these terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together will be handled by Swedish courts. We will always try to sort things out directly with you first.
12. Contact
